A sports coach is a person coaching in sport, involved in the direction, instruction and training of a sports team or athlete. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. KK Pelister is a men's professional basketball club based in Bitola, North Macedonia. They currently play in the Macedonian League and the ABA League Second Division. History The club was founded in 1948. Pelister is one of the most representative Clubs in Macedonia. KK Vardar ( mk, КК Вардар) is a basketball club based in Skopje, North Macedonia. Established in 1947, the team has won the Macedonian National League five times and the Macedonian Cup once. History On 20 July 1947, MSD Makedonija and ŽSD Pobeda merged into the newly-established Vardar Sports Association, forming a new club named KK Vardar. MZT Skopje Aerodrom ( mk, МЗТ Скопје Аеродром) is a basketball club based in Skopje, North Macedonia. The club competes in the Macedonian League and ABA League.
