''Zoo'' (stylized in all caps) is the thirteenth studio album by American rapper Russ. It was released on September 7, 2018, by Diemon and Columbia Records. The album was announced on August 13, 2018. The official tracklist was released on September 4, just three days before the album’s release. On September 22, 2018, the album debuted at number four on the US ''Billboard'' 200. Critical reception ''HipHopDX'' gave the album a rating of 3.8 out of 5, with writer Scott Glaysher stating: "''Zoo'' lacks outright smash hits but it’s clear Russ’ focus for this sophomore offering was to make a project that was better-rounded than his debut – so in that case, mission accomplished." Commercial performance ''Zoo'' debuted at number four on the US ''Billboard'' 200 chart, earning 79,000 album-equivalent units (including 57,000 in pure album sales) in its first week. Russell James Vitale (born September 26, 1992), better known by his stage name Russ, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. After years of releasing albums, mixtapes and singles for free online, Russ released his twelfth studio album, ''There's Really a Wolf'', in May 2017 through Columbia Records; it was certified Platinum in April 2018. Gene Vincent de Paul (June 17, 1919 – February 27, 1988) was an American pianist, composer and songwriter. Biography Born in New York City, he served in the United States Army during World War II. He was married to Billye Louise Files (November 23, 1924 – January 30, 1977) of Jack County, Texas. He joined the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) in 1941, and went on to compose the music for many motion pictures. He was nominated (with Don Raye) for an Academy Award for Best Music, Original Song in 1942 for the song "Pig Foot Pete" from the movie '' Hellzapoppin''. Donald Earle DeGrate Jr. (born September 29, 1969), better known by his stage name DeVanté Swing, is an American record producer, singer, rapper and songwriter. Jagged Edge (American Group)
Jagged Edge is an American R&B group from Atlanta, Georgia. The group, initially signed to record producer Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings, is best known for their string of hit singles including " Let's Get Married" and "Where the Party At" (featuring Nelly), most of which were produced by Dupri. The group's members include identical twin lead singers Brian and Brandon Casey as well as Richard Wingo and Kyle Norman.
