Zone League East is the fourth-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Football Association of Eastern Serbia Region. The league consists of 16 clubs that play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other clubs at both home and away games. Serbian League East ( Serbian: Српска лига Исток / Srpska liga Istok) is one of four sections of the Serbian League, the third national tier. The other three sections are Serbian League Belgrade, Serbian League Vojvodina and Serbian League West. It is also the highest regional league for the eastern part of Serbia. The league was founded in 2003 following a merger between the Serbian League Niš and the Serbian League Timok. Nišava District League
The Nišava or Nishava (Bulgarian and sr-Cyrl, Нишава, ) is a river in Bulgaria and Serbia, a right tributary, and with a length of also the longest one, of the South Morava. Serbian Cup
The Serbian Cup ( Serbian: Куп Србије, Kup Srbije) is the national football cup of Serbia. The winner of the competition gets a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifying round. From 2006 to 2010, the competition was known as the Lav Cup for sponsorship reasons. History Serbia's cup tournament is the legal successor to the Serbia and Montenegro Cup and in turn of the Yugoslav Cup. FK Timočanin () is a football club based in Knjaževac, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League East, the third tier of the national league system. FK Timok 1919 () is a football club based in Zaječar, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League East, the third tier of the national league system. History Founded in 1919, the club participated in the regional leagues during its early stages. They achieved their first notable success by defeating Dinamo Zagreb 3–1 in the first round of the 1973 Yugoslav Cup. The club also competed in the Yugoslav Second League for three seasons between 1981 and 1984.
