Roronoa Zoro
, also known as , is a Character (arts), fictional character in the ''One Piece'' franchise created by Eiichiro Oda. In the story, Zoro is the first crewmate to join Monkey D. Luffy's crew after he is saved (by Luffy and Koby (One Piece), Koby) from being executed at the Marine Base by Morgan (One Piece), Captain Morgan. He is the crew's combatant, and one of the two swordsmen of the Straw Hat Pirates, the other being List of One Piece characters#Brook, Brook. He also has an extremely poor sense of direction, which is a running gag throughout the whole series. Creation and conception Zoro originally used two swords instead of three. Zoro was originally planned to be part of Buggy the Clown’s pirate crew and would have been recruited by Luffy away from Buggy. ''One Piece'' (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha's ''shōnen'' manga magazine ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' since July 1997, with its individual chapters compiled into 104 ''tankōbon'' volumes . Romancing The Stone
''Romancing the Stone'' is a 1984 action-adventure romantic comedy film directed by Robert Zemeckis, written by Diane Thomas and produced by Michael Douglas, who also starred in the film. The film co-stars Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito. The film follows a romance novelist who must venture beyond her New York City comfort zone to Colombia in order to save her sister from criminals who are holding her for ransom as they search for a priceless treasure. Thomas wrote the screenplay in 1979, as the only one in her lifetime. Zemeckis, who at the time was developing '' Cocoon'', liked Thomas's screenplay and offered to direct but 20th Century Fox initially declined, citing the commercial failure of his first two films ''I Wanna Hold Your Hand'' and ''Used Cars''. The Philadelphia Union are an American professional soccer club based in Chester, Pennsylvania. The Union compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference. Founded on February 28, 2008, the club began playing in 2010 as an expansion team. The club's home stadium is Subaru Park, a soccer-specific stadium located in Chester, Pennsylvania on the banks of the Delaware River. The Union are currently owned by Keystone Sports & Entertainment, with Jay Sugarman serving as majority owner and chairman of the club.
