Zohra Aghamirova
Zohra Aghamirova ( az, Zöhrə Ağamirova; born 8 August 2001) is an Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnast. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Career Junior Aghamirova started the season at Miss Valentine in Tartu, where she won bronze medal in All-around and qualified to three finals. She won silver medal with Clubs and brone medals with Rope and Ball. She won gold medal in All-around at the 2016 Azerbaijani Junior National Championships. She also won gold with Rope, silver with Ball and bronze with Clubs. She competed at the 2016 European Championships in Holon, Israel, where she and her teammates Ilaha Mammadova and Veronika Hudis won 8th place in Team competition. She placed 15th in Clubs and 37th in Ball Qualifications. 2018 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships
The 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships were held in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 10 September to 16 September 2018 at Arena Armeec. The top three countries in the group all-around, Russia, Italy, and Bulgaria won the first three spots for the 2020 Olympic Games. Russia was the most successful nation of the competition with seven of the nine gold medals, and Bulgaria and Italy each won a title. Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships
The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships are the world championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. The tournament is promoted and organized by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). It is one of the three tournaments in rhythmic gymnastics officially organized by FIG, as well as the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup and the gymnastics competitions at the Olympic Games (in collaboration with the IOC and the federation of the country organising the Games). The first edition of the World Championships was held in 1963, a time when the sport was known as modern gymnastics. Zhala Piriyeva
Zhala Piriyeva ( az, Jalə Azad qızı Piriyeva; born 10 May 2000) is an Azerbaijani individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2016 Azeri National champion and three-time (2013-2015) junior Azerbaijani national champion. Career Junior Piriyeva began gymnastics at 4 years old. She began appearing in international competitions in the 2012 season winning gold in all-around at an International tournament in Hungary. In 2013, Piriyeva won 3 gold medals in Valentine Cup in Estonia in hoop, ball and clubs. She competed in the junior division at the 2013 Moscow Grand Prix where she won the all-around bronze medal behind Ukraine's Eleonora Romanova, she has also competed in the 2013 World Cup series.
