Zoe Williams (Gladiators)
Dr. Zoe Marie Williams (born 3 April 1980) is an English television personality. Trained and practising as a physician, Williams rose to media prominence as Amazon in the UK television series ''Gladiators''. Williams had previously played rugby, appearing with the Blaydon Women's Rugby Football Club in the Premiership Division. Medical career Williams graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne medical school in 2007. She gained experience in many specialist fields within medicine including A&E, Cardiology, Respiratory and Acute medicine, Surgery, Dermatology, Oncology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She currently practises as an NHS general practitioner in London. Gladiators (2008 British TV Series)
''Gladiators'' is a British television series which aired on Sky One (now Sky Max) from 11 May 2008 to 25 October 2009. It was a revival of the earlier series of the same name and based on the American version of the show. The US, UK and Australian versions of the show were all revived in 2008. For the first series, the show was hosted by Ian Wright and Kirsty Gallacher with original Referee John Anderson returning. For the second series Ian Wright was joined by Caroline Flack due to Kirsty Gallacher not wanting to return. Another change was the removal of John Anderson due to the producers wanting to give the show its own feel and cut ties with the original series. He was replaced by well known boxing referee John Coyle for series two. The winners of the series each earned £50,000. The show was cancelled in May 2009 by then director of programmes, Stuart Murphy. A second revival is set to be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in 2023. Format Series one featured 32 co ... The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) is the professional body for general (medical) practitioners (GPs/Family Physicians/Primary Care Physicians) in the United Kingdom. Sky One was a British pay television channel operated and owned by Sky Group (a division of Comcast). Originally launched on 26 April 1982 as Satellite Television, it was Europe's first satellite and non-terrestrial channel.
