Ziva Ben-Porat
Ziva Ben-Porat is a literary theorist, writer, and editor who lives in Israel and is a professor at Tel Aviv University. Personal life Ben-Porat graduated with a bachelor's degree in English and Hebrew literature and a master's degree in English literature from Tel Aviv University, as well as a doctorate in comparative literature from University of California, Berkeley. She lived for many years in Re'im, a kibbutz in southern Israel. Work According to Jeremy Dauber, in Ben-Porat's notable 1976 publication, "The Poetics of Literary Allusion", she sought to "deploy a formal notion of allusive signification to frame specific readings of literary works." From 1993 to 2008, Ben-Porat was editor-in-chief of ''Sifrut/Mashmaut/Tarbut'' (English: ''Literature/Meaning/Culture''), a series of academic books published by HaKibbutz HaMeuchad in Hebrew. Ziva David (; Hebrew: זיוה דוד, , feminine form of Ziv: "Radiance"; birth date November 12, 1982, Beersheba in the Negev desert of southern Israel). She was born in Be'er Sheva, Israel. is a fictional character from the CBS television series ''NCIS (TV series), NCIS'', portrayed by actress Cote de Pablo. Ziva Kunda
Ziva Kunda (June 13, 1955 – February 24, 2004) was an Israeli social psychologist and professor at the University of Waterloo known for her work in social cognition and motivated reasoning. Her seminal paper "The Case for Motivated Reasoning", published in ''Psychological Bulletin'' in 1990, posthumously received thScientific Impact Awardfrom the Society of Experimental Social Psychology. Kunda authored the book Social Cognition: Making Sense of People'' Biography Ziva Kunda was born in Tel Aviv. Her parents were from Oudtshoorn, a small South African town. They immigrated from different parts of Europe to Oudtshoorn to find safety from the persecutions of Jews before and during World War II. In Kunda's autobiography, she shares her parents' background, their parents, and her early childhood. In 2004, Kunda died from cancer. Ziva Rodann ( he, זיוה רודן, born Ziva Blechman ; 2 March 1933), known first as Ziva Shapir (), is an Israeli-American actress. She was a Hollywood film star and a frequent guest star on television series from the late 1950s to the late 1960s. The ''Canadian Jewish Chronicle'' described her as "the first Israeli actress to be signed to a long-term deal with a major motion picture studio." Early life Rodann was born in Haifa to Yeshaiahu "Shaya" Blechman, a professor of mathematics, and his wife, Rosa. Ziva (dish)
Ziva ( he, זיוה) is an Israeli dish made of puff pastry topped with sesame seeds, and stuffed with cheese and olives. Ziva is served at home and in restaurants. Ziva is cooked in a style similar to the Yemenite Malawach but its ingredients more closely resemble börek, both of which are also common in Israel. Ziva is usually served alongside a hot sauce (skhug), eggs and Israeli salad. Ziva is thought to have been invented by chef Neri Avneri at the Nargilla restaurant in 1989.
