Antonio Salazar Barrull (born 1949 in A Coruña), known as Zíngaro, is a Spanish singer and composer of Gypsy origin, whose style corresponds to a merger between Flamenco, jazz and rock that began in the late 1970s. He is the brother of another artist: Luis Salazar Barrull, best known as El Luis. Personal life He moved to Argentina, where he lived for almost 14 years. He began composing on the guitar and he was encouraged to return to Spain for better opportunities where his brother had become successful. Carlos Zingaro
Carlos Zíngaro (or Carlos "Zíngaro" Alves, born 15 December 1948 in Lisbon, Portugal) is a Portuguese violinist and electronic musician active in free improvisation. Biography Zingaro studied classical music at the Lisbon Music Conservatory from 1953 to 1965, and during the years 1967/68 he studied pipe organ at the Sacred Music High School and did studies on musicology and electroacoustic music. Also, during the 1960s, he was a member of the Lisbon University Chamber Orchestra. In 1967 he formed the musical group PLEXUS. Zingaro has performed at many music festivals in Europe, Asia and America. He has more than 50 published records under his name or in collaboration with other musicians / composers. Zingaro was a founding member and director of the Lisbon art gallery Cómicos from 1984 till 1990, and his work has been exhibited, awarded several prizes for his illustration, comics and paintings, samples of which can be seen on a number of CD sleeves. Antonio Solario ( 1502–1518), also known as Antonio de Solario or da Solario and sometimes by the nickname Lo Zingaro ("The Gypsy"), was an Italian painter of the Venetian school, who worked in Naples, the Marche and possibly England. His career is obscure, largely pieced together from surviving works, and at one time his existence was doubted. Biography Solario was possibly born and probably trained in Venice. He is first recorded at Fermo in 1502, and last (rather questionably) in Montecassino in 1518; if this last is excluded his last known date is 1514. In Naples, his main work were twenty large frescoes illustrating the ''Life of St Benedict'' in the cloister of the monastery of Santi Severino e Sossio (now the State Archives), which are open to the elements, though covered, and are now greatly decayed; they present a vast variety of figures and details, with dexterous modeling and coloring. Lucayablennius Zingaro
''Lucayablennius zingaro'', the arrow blenny, is a species of chaenopsid blenny found in coral reefs around the Bahamas and the Caribbean, in the western central Atlantic Ocean. It can reach a maximum length of 5.7 cm (2.2 in). This species is the only known member of its genus. Habitat The arrow blenny can be found in costal coral reefs near the Bahamas, Caribbean, and western Atlantic Ocean. Their range extends as far west as the western side of the Yucatán peninsula, as far north as the Florida keys, and as far south as the eastern tip of South America. Their depth range is typically 13 to 106 meters (42.6 to 347.7 ft). Description The arrow blenny is truly unique among blennys regarding their appearance.
