Ziauddin Sardar ( ur, ضیاء الدین سردار; born 31 October 1951) is a British-Pakistani scholar, award-winning writer, cultural critic and public intellectual who specialises in Muslim thought, the future of Islam, futurology and science and cultural relations. Qari Ziauddin (died October 5, 2010) was a local militia leader in Afghanistan's Badakhshan Province, the province in the extreme Northeast. Shaheed Agha Ziauddin Rizviشہید آغا ضیاء الدین رضوی was a Shi'a cleric born at Amphary, Gilgit, in a religious family. Ziauddin Barani (1285–1358 CE) was a Muslim political thinker of the Delhi Sultanate located in present-day Northern India during Muhammad bin Tughlaq and Firuz Shah's reign.
