Alex Mihai Stoenescu (born October 2, 1953) is a Romanian writer, journalist and politician. Former informant for the terror group called "Securitatea" during the Ceaușescu regime (1965-1989). Ovidiu Pecican
Ovidiu Coriolan Pecican (born January 8, 1959) is a Romanian historian, essayist, novelist, short-story writer, literary critic, poet, playwright, and journalist of partly Serbian origin. He is especially known for his political writings on disputed issues such as regional autonomy for Transylvania, and for his co-authorship of a controversial history textbook for 11th and 12th grade high-school students. Daniel Dăianu (born 30 August 1952) is a Romanian economist, professor, and politician. Early life He was born in Bucharest, Romania in a family of high-ranking Securitate officers. Up to 9th grade he studied at High School nr. 35, after which he switched to , where he attended a special math class from 1968 to 1971. In 1975, he obtained a Master of Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies (ASE) in Bucharest and, in 1988, a Ph.D. in Economics from the same institution. He held a post-doctoral research position at Harvard University's Russian Research Center, from 1990 to 1991 and attended Harvard Business School's six-week Advanced Management Program in 1994. Silviu Brucan (born Saul Bruckner; 18 January 1916 – 14 September 2006) was a Romanian Communist politician. He became a critic of the dictatorship of Nicolae Ceaușescu. ''Ziarul'' was a daily newspaper in Romania, published in Bucharest. It was founded in 2002 by Eugen Arnăutu, a PSD deputy.
