Zhu Yi (figure Skater)
Zhu Yi (; born Beverly Zhu on September 19, 2002) is an American figure skater based on China who competes in women's singles. She has competed in the final segment at two ISU Championships, placing 13th at the 2020 Four Continents Championships and 22nd at 2020 World Junior Championships. She won the 2018 U.S. national novice title before representing China internationally. Personal life Zhu was born on September 19, 2002, in Westwood, Los Angeles, California, United States. Her parents, Cui Jie and Zhu Songchun, immigrated to the United States from China. Her father was a computer expert and professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, before moving to Peking University. Zhu is the pinyin romanization of five Chinese surnames: 朱, 祝, 竺, 猪 and 諸. Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform on figure skates on ice. It was the first winter sport to be included in the Olympic Games, when contested at the 1908 Olympics in London. Song-Chun Zhu
Song-Chun Zhu ( zh, s=朱松纯) is a Chinese computer scientist and applied mathematician known for his work in computer vision, cognitive artificial intelligence and robotics. Zhu currently works at Peking University and was previously a professor in the Departments of Statistics and Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. Zhu also previously served as Director of the UCLA Center for Vision, Cognition, Learning and Autonomy (VCLA). 2020 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 2020 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held in Tallinn, Estonia on March 2–8, 2020. Figure skaters competed for the title of junior world champion in men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each federation during the 2020–21 ISU Junior Grand Prix series and at the 2021 World Junior Championships.
