Zhu Qi
Zhu Qi, (; born May 1942) is a general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. He formerly served as commander of the Beijing Military Region. Biography Zhu Qi is from Xiangyun County, Yunnan, China. He graduated from the Central Party School of the Chinese Communist Party with a degree in economic administration. In January 1960 he entered the Chinese People's Liberation Army. In August 1961 he entered the Chinese Communist Party. Zhu Qi took part in high-level talks between U.S. and Chinese military officials as part of the Sanye Initiative organized by the East West Institute from June 16 to 19, 2012. Zhu (surname)
Zhu is the pinyin romanization of five Chinese surnames: 朱, 祝, 竺, 猪 and 諸. The most prominent of the five, Zhu ( 朱), is the 17th name in the ''Hundred Family Surnames'' poem and was the surname of the Ming dynasty emperors. Chinese People's Liberation Army
The People's Liberation Army (PLA) is the principal military force of the People's Republic of China and the armed wing of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The PLA consists of five service branches: the Ground Force, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force, and Strategic Support Force. It is under the leadership of the Central Military Commission (CMC) with its chairman as commander-in-chief. The PLA can trace its origins during the Republican Era to the left-wing units of the National Revolutionary Army (NRA) of the Kuomintang (KMT) when they broke away on 1 August 1927 in an uprising against the nationalist government as the Chinese Red Army before being reintegrated into the NRA as units of New Fourth Army and Eighth Route Army during the Second Sino-Japanese War. The National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China (NPC; ), or simply the National People's Congress, is constitutionally the supreme state authority and the national legislature of the People's Republic of China. With 2,980 members in 2018, it is the largest legislative body in the world. Guizhou
Guizhou (; formerly Kweichow) is a landlocked province in the southwest region of the People's Republic of China. Its capital and largest city is Guiyang, in the center of the province.
