Zhongxing Prefecture
Xingqing Prefecture was a prefecture in imperial China between the 11th and 13th centuries in modern Ningxia, China, centering on modern Yinchuan. It was the capital of Western Xia and its ''de facto'' independent precursor Dingnan Jiedushi. The Mongol leader and conqueror Genghis Khan who founded the Mongol Empire died there on 25 August 1227. Xingqing was its name between 1033 and 1205. Between 1205 and 1288 it was known as Zhongxing Prefecture (Chinese: Zhōngxīngfǔ 中興府; Tangut: ) and between 1020 and 1033 as Xing Prefecture (Chinese: Xīngzhōu 興州; Tangut: ). Chongming District
Chongming District () is northernmost district of the provincial-level municipality of Shanghai. Chongming consists of three low-lying inhabited alluvial islands at the mouth of the Yangtze north of the Shanghai peninsula: Chongming, Changxing, and Hengsha. Following its massive expansion in the 20th century, Chongming is now the 2nd-largest island administered by the People's Republic of China and the 2nd-largest in Greater China, after Hainan. Chongming does not, however, administer all of the island: owing to its continual expansion from sediment deposited by the Yangtze, it has merged with formerly separate islands and now includes Jiangsu province's pene-exclave townships of Haiyong and Qilong. Emperor He of Southern Qi () (488–2 May 502; r. 14 April 501– 20 April 502), personal name Xiao Baorong (), courtesy name Zhizhao (), was the last emperor of the Chinese Southern Qi dynasty. He was put on the throne by the generals Xiao Yingzhou () and Xiao Yan in 501 as a competing candidate for the throne to his violent and arbitrary older brother Xiao Baojuan. In 502, with Xiao Baojuan having been defeated and killed and Xiao Yingzhou dead, Xiao Yan seized the throne from Emperor He and took the throne himself, ending the Southern Qi dynasty and starting the Liang dynasty. Murong Yong
Murong Yong (; died 394), courtesy name Shuming (叔明), was the last emperor of the Xianbei-led Chinese Western Yan dynasty. He was the grandson of Murong Yun (慕容運), the uncle of Former Yan's founder Murong Huang. As a member of Former Yan's imperial clan, he was moved to Guanzhong, Former Qin's capital region, when Former Qin destroyed Former Yan in 370. He was described as poor, and he and his wife made their living by selling boots. Murong Yong apparently became a Western Yan general in 384, when its first two rulers Murong Hong and Murong Chong rose against Former Qin. Zhongxing Guesthouse
The Zhongxing Guesthouse () also known as the Yangmingshuwu is a historical site located in on Zhongxing road in Yangmingshan National Park in the Beitou District of Taipei, Taiwan. It was constructed between 1969 and 1970 by late Republic of China President Chiang Kai-shek for reception of important foreign guests and to act as a summer residence. It was designed by architect Huang Baoyu (黃寶瑜), who also designed the National Palace Museum. Overview Chiang's largest villa, the Yangmingshuwu, is set on 37 acres of plum trees and mountain landscape.
