Zhao Qingjian
Zhao Qingjian (; born March 15, 1978) is a retired professional wushu taolu athlete who is originally from Shandong. Through his numerous successes in national and international competitions, he established himself as one of the greatest wushu taolu athletes of the 2000s. Career Zhao was a shaolinquan practitioner throughout his youth. He later joined the Henan Songshan Shaolin Temple martial monks group which went on tours throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe during the mid-1990s. Zhao then enrolled and graduated from the Wuhan Sports University. In 1999, he was recruited by coach Wu Bin and joined the Beijing Wushu Team. Zhao's first competition representing Beijing was in the 2000 National Taolu Championships where he won a gold medal in daoshu. Tai'an
Tai'an () is a prefecture-level city in Western Shandong Province of the People's Republic of China. International Wushu Federation
The International Wushu Federation (IWUF) is an international sport organization and is the governing body for wushu in all its forms worldwide. The IWUF is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and is also a member of the ARISF, GAISF, FISU, IWGA, and the ISF. 2001 National Games Of China
The 9th National Games of China was a multi-sport event that was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China from 11–25 November 2001. The main stadium for the games was the Guangdong Olympic Stadium. A total of 345 events were contested in 30 sports – 27 were summer sports and the remaining three were skating winter sports. The games featured 8608 athletes from 45 delegations, including the various Chinese provinces and regions as well as occupational divisions (e.g. People's Liberation Army, China Railway Corporation). Shaolin Kung Fu
Shaolin Kung Fu (), also called Shaolin Wushu (), or Shaolin quan (), is one of the oldest, largest, and most famous styles of wushu, or kung fu of Chan Buddhism.
