Zeze Kingston
Zeze Kingston (born March 26, 1993) is a Malawian Afropiano singer, songwriter and television personality. In 2023, he won Male Artist of the Year at the Maso Awards that took place at BICC in Lilongwe. He also won Best Live Act. Background Early life Kingston was born on March 26, 1987, in Lilongwe and raised in Blantyre. He completed his primary schooling in Blantyre as well as his secondary school education. Music career Kingston started his music career as a producer in Malawi around 2011. In December 2022, Kingston released his EP titled "In My Zone" following the massive success of the song "Mvetsela," which featured Temwah and Jillz. After winning Male Artist of the Year, Kingston owed his success to South Africa's Amapiano. Blantyre District
Blantyre is a district in the Southern Region of Malawi. The capital is Blantyre, a commercial city where most Malawian industrial and business offices are. The district covers an area of 2,012 km² and has a population of 809,397. It was named after Blantyre, the birth village of David Livingstone in Scotland, one of the first missionary explorers who came to Nyasaland, as Malawi was called before independence in 1964. It is also a main trading point besides the other large cities in Malawi. The other large cities are Lilongwe, which is located in the central region, and Mzuzu, which is in the northern part of Malawi.
