Dr. Zeynel Abidin Erdem (born February 15, 1944 in Mardin) is a Turkish business tycoon and the honorary consul of the Kingdom of Spain to the Marmara Region of Turkey and the honorary consul of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Turkey. He was born on the 15th of February 1944 in Savur, Mardin, Turkey. After his graduation from Faculty of Chemistry of Yıldız Technical University, Istanbul, he completed the doctorate program of Faculty of Management of Istanbul University. He worked as an assistant in the Chair of Industrial Inorganic Chemistry between 1973 and 1976. He was the president of the Istanbul Chamber of Chemical Engineers between 1972 and 1974 and the president of Kimsan Labor Union in 1973. Dr. Erdem began his business life in 1965. Zeynel Mungan
Zeynel Mungan (born December 21, 1952) is a Turkish citizen and Professor of Medicine, recognized for his academic achievements in the field of gastroenterology. Career Zeynel Mungan, born in Diyarbakir, Turkey in 1952, received his medical degree at the Medical Faculty of Istanbul University in 1977. He was appointed to Associate Professor in 1988 and Professorship in 1995 in the same university. Between the years 1990 and 1992, Dr. Mungan worked as a Research Associate Professor at New Orleans, Tulane University and has been awarded the Kemal Akdamar GI Research Fellowship. He was Head of Gastroenterohepatology in Istanbul University between 2005 and 2010 and President of the Istanbul Branch of Turkish Gastroenterology Association between 1999 and 2007.
