"Zero" is a song by the Christian alternative rock band Hawk Nelson from their album '' Smile, It's the End of the World''. The song is about someone vocalist Jason Dunn knew who committed suicide. The song was released in 2006, and it was released again on May 30, 2007 as a single in the USA and Canada. The single was the 15th most-played song in 2007 on Christian Hit Radio stations in the United States according to R&R magazine. Video The music video begins with an ambulance siren and then cuts to a girl who picks up a telephone and then sinks down against a wall with her head in her hands. The scene fades to black, and Jason Dunn appears at a piano, surrounded by a circle of words written on the ground. Throughout the video, people are shown with statements next to them. It also features Hawk Nelson's band members playing their instruments. Hawk Nelson is a Canadian Rock music, rock band from Peterborough, Ontario. Formed in 2000, the band has released eight studio albums to date. History Early independent releases (2000–2003) In 2000, Dunn, Clark, and Paige founded a Peterborough, Ontario, Peterborough-based group called "SWISH", while Biro sang lead vocals for a four-piece group called the "Cheese Monkeys from Planet Nine" from Barrie, Ontario. In 2000, SWISH released their first independent album, ''Riding Around the Park'' on Mime Radio, an independent record label based in Peterborough. In January 2002, Biro moved to Peterborough to join Dunn, Clark and Paige and SWISH was renamed "Reason Being", before finally settling with the name "Hawk Nelson". ''Smile, It's the End of the World'' is the second full-length album by pop punk band Hawk Nelson. It was released on April 4, 2006. The record was a 2007 GMA Dove Award nominee for Rock Album, produced by Aaron Sprinkle. It was also a nominee for Recorded Music Packaging, designed by Jason Powers. Tooth & Nail Records is a Christian rock record label founded by Brandon Ebel in California in November 1993. The label later moved to Seattle, Washington where it is situated today. It is home to many well-known musical acts, including Underoath, Hawk Nelson, Emery, The Almost, FM Static, Family Force 5, Anberlin, and MxPx. Aaron Sprinkle
Aaron Sprinkle (born March 20, 1974) is an American singer, songwriter and record producer from Seattle, Washington. Career His career in music began in high school with a group called BellBangVilla. BellBangVilla became Poor Old Lu and they released a number of albums (see below). Aaron Sprinkle also sang and played lead guitar in Rose Blossom Punch, and has produced albums independently. On his solo releases, he plays almost all instruments except drums. He produced dozens of records for Tooth & Nail Records between 1993 and 2016. In 2005, Sprinkle formed the band Fair with Joey Sanchez, Nick Barber, and Erick Newbill. Fair released its debut album '' The Best Worst-Case Scenario'' on Tooth & Nail Records in June 2006.
