Zeph Ellis
Joseph Ellis-Stephenson (born 19 October 1988), better known by his stage name Dot Rotten or Zeph Ellis, is a British grime MC, rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer from Lambeth, South London. Having released a series of mixtapes independently in the grime scene under the names Young Dot and later Dot Rotten, Ellis signed to Mercury Records, releasing his debut studio album '' Voices in My Head'' in 2013. After leaving the major label, he has since released several independent EP's and projects, as well as later changing his name to Zeph Ellis and focusing on producing. He is known for introducing various sampling techniques to grime production, and creating the style of singing hooks on grime tracks. Zeph Gladstone
Zephyrine Frances "Zeph" Gladstone (20 September 1937 - 28 October 2002) was an English television actress, from Norwood in south London. She was best known for her role as the "tart with a heart" hairdresser Vera Downend on the soap opera ''Crossroads'', a role she played from 1970 to 1977. Gladstone started her television career in ''ITV Play of the Week'' in 1964. She moved on to a permanent part on the series ''Dixon of Dock Green''. She also appeared in 'The Baron' as a revolutionary in 'Evening of Hunter', with future 'Crossroads' star Sue Lloyd, in her role on ''Crossroads'' that was most enduring. Gladstone started on the series in June 1970, playing an experienced hairdresser setting up a salon business in the Crossroads Motel. Despite a rough veneer and bad choices, Gladstone's character, Vera Downend, was essentially a "positive" character and developed favourable fan reaction. Zeph Hutchinson
Zephaniah Hutchinson (2 November 1888 – 5 January 1959) was a British trade unionist and political activist. Known as the leading left-wing activist in the Lancashire cotton trade unions, he served for 28 years as leader of the Bacup Weavers' Association. Born in Cowling, Craven, in Yorkshire, Hutchinson began working in a cotton mill in Colne at the age of twelve. Three years later, he joined the Colne Weavers' Association. He later moved to work in Nelson, becoming a prominent activist in the Nelson Weavers' Association. While in Nelson, Hutchinson joined the Independent Labour Party (ILP). He became the ILP's leading member in the cotton trade unions, and in this role tried, unsuccessfully, to get the United Textile Factory Workers' Association (UTFWA) to adopt Philip Snowden as a candidate in the 1920 Nelson and Colne by-election. Zeph Lee
Zephrini Lee (born June 17, 1963) is a former American football player who played three seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Raiders. He was selected by the Raiders in the ninth round of the 1986 NFL draft. He played college football at the University of Southern California and attended Abraham Lincoln High School in San Francisco, California. Lee was also a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Sacramento Attack, Arizona Rattlers and Miami Hooters. Professional career Los Angeles Raiders Lee was selected by the Los Angeles Raiders in the ninth round with the 246th overall pick in the 1986 NFL Draft. He spent the 1986 season on the injured reserve list. He was released by the Raiders after the team's third preseason game in 1987. Denver Broncos Lee signed with the Denver Broncos as a replacement player during the 1987 NFL players' strike and played in one game for the team before being released. Mega Zeph
Mega Zeph is a wooden roller coaster located at the abandoned Six Flags New Orleans theme park, in the Eastern New Orleans area of New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Originally opening on May 20, 2000, as Jazzland's signature ride, the coaster has been abandoned and left in a state of decay as a result of the park's closure following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. It is currently standing but not operating. History Mega Zeph takes its name from the original ''Zephyr'' or ''Big Zephyr'' coaster that operated in the now-defunct Pontchartrain Beach amusement park. The coaster celebrated its topping out ceremony on September 10, 1999, with the installation of the underpinnings of the coaster's highest hump. At the time of its completion, Mega Zeph served as both Jazzland's signature attraction as well as its most visible due to its location adjacent to the Interstate 10/Interstate 510 interchange.
