Zenon Jaskuła
Zenon Jaskuła (born 4 June 1962) is a Polish former professional racing cyclist from Śrem, who was active in the 1990s. He won stage 16 and finished third overall in the 1993 Tour de France. He competed in the team time trial at the 1988 Summer Olympics winning a silver medal. Åšrem
Śrem (german: Schrimm) is a town on the Warta river in central Poland. It has been in the Greater Poland Voivodeship since 1999. From 1975 to 1998 it was part of the Poznań Voivodeship. As of 1995, the population of Śrem was 29,800. Śrem is to the south of Poznań, a local road junction on the road from Poznań to Rawicz; other roads lead from the town to Września, Leszno and Głuchowo. The Śrem District has a population of 39,672, of which about 31,000 live in the town of Śrem. 1991 Giro D'Italia
The 1991 Giro d'Italia was the 74th edition of the race. It began on May 26 with a mass-start stage that began and ended in the Italian city of Olbia. The race came to a close in Milan on June 16. Twenty teams entered the race, which was won by the Italian Franco Chioccioli of the Del Tongo-MG Boys Maglificio team. Second and third respectively were the Italians Claudio Chiappucci and Massimiliano Lelli. The race was first led by Frenchman Philippe Casado who won the first stage into Olbia. Casado lost the race leader's ''maglia rosa'' ( en, pink jersey) after stage 2a that contained a mountainous course. Éric Boyer took the race lead from Chioccioli after winning the event's fourth stage. However, he lost the lead back to Chioccioli the following day. Joachim Halupczok (3 June 1968 – 5 February 1994) was a Polish racing cyclist. He won the silver medal in the team time trial at the 1988 Summer Olympics along with Andrzej Sypytkowski, Marek LeÅ›niewski and Zenon JaskuÅ‚a. In 1989 he became the amateur champion at the 1989 UCI Road World Championships. In 1990 he signed professional terms and took part in the World Championships in Utsunomiya, Japan. He finished the World Championship course :08 behind the winner within a peloton of the best riders in the world including Gianni Bugno, Greg Lemond, Pedro Delgado, Sean Kelly and Miguel Indurain. The Trofeo Baracchi was a major Italian cycling race that ran for 50 years. It was created by Mino Baracchi, in memory of his father Angelo who was a great cycle racing fan. Originally (from 1941) an amateur individual time trial, from 1944 it was open to professionals and became a major event on the European calendar.
