Zeenat Aman
Zeenat Khan (born 19 November 1951), better known as Zeenat Aman, is an Indian actress and former fashion model. She first received recognition for her modelling work, and at the age of 19, went on to participate in beauty pageants, winning both the Femina Miss India pageant and the Miss Asia Pacific International pageant in 1970. She began acting in 1970, and her early works included the films ''The Evil Within'' (1970) and ''Hulchul'' (1971). Aman's breakthrough came with the film ''Hare Rama Hare Krishna'' (1971), for which she won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award and the BFJA Award for Best Actress. She next starred in the film ''Yaadon Ki Baaraat'' (1973), for which she received further recognition. Zeenat Begum
Zeenat Begum (born Shamim Akhtar; 11 November 1931 11 December 2007), sometimes known as Zeenat, was a Pakistani singer. She was known as ''The Queen of Yesteryear'' for singing songs in films and on radio. Early life Zeenat Begum was born Shamim Akhtar in 1931 on November 11th at Malerkotla, Punjab, British India. Music career Zeenat Begum was a courtesan (kothewali) and a renowned classical singer. She was discovered by Pandit Amar Nath around 1937. Her first success as a playback singer came in 1942 when she sang for Govind Ram's Punjabi film Mangti (1942) and she also made her debut as an actress in the film. The film was marked as the first Golden jubilee film produced in Lahore. Her first Hindi film was ''Nishani'' (1942). Zeenat Karzai
Zeenat Quraishi Karzai (born 1970) is the wife of former President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai and was the First Lady of Afghanistan from 2001 to 2014. Originally from the city of Kandahar, she moved to Kabul, where she lived at the Arg (the Presidential palace) with her husband and their four children. Zinat-un-Nissa Begum ( fa, زینت النساء بیگم 5 October 1643 – 7 May 1721) was a Mughal princess and the second daughter of Emperor Aurangzeb and his chief consort, Dilras Banu Begum. Her father had conferred upon her the honorable title of ''Padshah Begum''. Life Zinat-un-Nissa Begum ("Jewel among Women") was born on 5 October 1643, probably in Aurangabad, to Dilras Banu Begum, Aurangzeb's first wife and chief consort. Her mother was a princess of the prominent Safavid dynasty of Persia and was a daughter of Mirza Badi-uz-Zaman Safavi, the Viceroy of Gujarat. Her paternal grandfather was the fifth Mughal emperor Shah Jahan during whose reign she was born. Zeenat Mahal
Zeenat Mahal; (1823 – 17 July 1886) was the only wife and de facto regent of the Mughal Empire on behalf of her husband, the Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar. Biography Zeenat Mahal married Bahadur Shah II at Delhi on 19 November 1840 and had a son with him, Mirza Jawan Bakht. She greatly influenced the emperor and, after the death of crown prince Mirza Dara Bakht, she began promoting her son Mirza Jawan Bakht as heir to the throne over the Emperor's remaining eldest son Mirza Fath-ul-Mulk Bahadur. But due to the primogeniture policy of the British, this was not accepted. She was suspected of poisoning the British Resident in Delhi, Thomas Metcalfe, in 1853 for meddling too much in palace affairs. Zeenat Barkatullah (died 20 September 2023) was a Bangladeshi dancer and television actress. She received Bachsas Awards, Bangladesh Cultural Society Lifetime Achievement Award and Natyashabha Award for her contributions to the field of dance. Early life and education Barkatullah was a student of Gazi Alimuddin Mannan at the age of 4. She earned her masters in sociology from the University of Dhaka and joined the Performing Arts Academy. She completed a six-year certificate course from Bulbul Lalitakala Academy and later in ballet and dance choreography under experts from North Korea. Her father was the Deputy Magistrate of Jamalpur District. Career Barkatullah worked as one of the directors of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy beginning in 2002. ''Zeenat '' is a 1945 Indian Muslim social melodrama film directed by Syed Shaukat Hussain Rizvi and starring Noor Jehan, Yakub, Majid, Himalayawala, and Karan Dewan. It was produced by Shirazali Hakim and Ramzanali S. Lakhani. The film's story and dialogue was written by Wajahat Mirza Changezi. The music was composed by Meer Saheb and Hafiz Khan while the background music was provided by Rafiq Ghaznavi. It is the story of a young girl who loses her husband a few days after her wedding as a result of a fall from a horse but not before they have spent a night together unbeknownst to others, leaving her pregnant.
