The Amsterdamse Voetbalvereniging Zeeburgia is a football club from Amsterdam, Netherlands. It has been dubbed " royal supplier" as many Dutch professional footballers started at Zeeburgia youth teams. In 2020–2021, the first squad plays in the Tweede Klasse. History Zeeburgia was founded on 28 June 1919. On 26 August 1956 if lost 1–6 to Ajax Amsterdam in the first round of the 1956-57 National Dutch Cup. Dabney dos Santos Souza (born 31 July 1996) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Slovak First Football League club AS Trenčín. Alfons Fosu-Mensah (born 4 March 1994), previously known as Alfons Agbolosoo, is a Dutch footballer who plays as a forward for Glossop North End. Career Fosu-Mensah's youth career began with Zeeburgia, before he had spells with AFC, Argon and Almere City. After leaving Almere City, he had a trial with Eerste Divisie club Oss in 2014 which led to him signing a contract with the team, originally as an amateur before signing a professional deal soon after. He made his professional football debut on 31 January 2015 versus De Graafschap. Fosu-Mensah made six more appearances in the league for Oss before departing. Mitch Apau (born 27 April 1990) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a right back. Club career He played for Veendam and Waalwijk before moving abroad to join Belgian side Westerlo in summer 2014. Lorenzo Burnet (born 11 January 1991) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Eredivisie club Emmen. Club career After starting as a footballer at amateur East Amsterdam club AVV Zeeburgia, Burnet joined the top-ranked Ajax Amsterdam youth system in 2004. Nicandro Breeveld (born 7 October 1986) is a Surinamese professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. Ryan Henk Donk (born 30 March 1986) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Süper Lig club Kasımpaşa. Born in the Netherlands, he represents the Suriname national team. Raymond Gyasi (born 5 August 1994) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a winger. Career Gyasi was born in the Netherlands to parents of Ghanaian descent. He was called up to join the Ghana national under-23 football team, and made his debut in a 2–0 win against the Mozambique U23s.
