Zeca (footballer, Born 1997)
José Joaquim de Carvalho (born 6 March 1997), commonly known as Zeca, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for K League 1 club Pohang Steelers. Club career Zeca was born in Salvador, Bahia, and was a Bahia youth graduate. He made his senior debut while on loan at Ypiranga-BA in 2016, but later moved to Vitória and returned to the youth setup. In 2017, Zeca moved abroad and joined Portuguese side Boavista, being assigned to the reserve team. He returned to his home country in 2019, signing for Goiás and being initially a part of the under-23 team. Zeca was definitely promoted to the main squad for the 2020 season, and made his Série A debut on 12 August of that year, coming on as a late substitute for Vinícius Lopes in a 1–2 away loss against Athletico Paranaense. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Copa Verde
The Copa Verde ( en, Green Cup) is an annual regional knockout football competition in Brazil that started in 2014, and played by 24 teams from the North and Central-West regions, plus Espírito Santo (Espírito Santo state was included because they competed in the old Copa Centro Oeste). Initially, the champion of the tournament gained a place in the next year's Copa Sudamericana. With the changes implemented by CONMEBOL in 2016 causes a competition no longer qualify in Copa Sudamericana from edition. The champion will now have a spot in the third round of the Copa do Brasil of the following year. The Porto Football Association (Portuguese: Associação de Futebol do Porto; abbreviated as ''AF Porto'') is the district governing body for the all football and futsal competitions in the Portuguese district of Porto. The 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the second division. The competition began on 28 May and ended on 28 November. Twenty teams competed in the tournament, twelve returning from the 2020 season, four promoted from the 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C ( Brusque, Londrina, Remo and Vila Nova), and four relegated from the 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (Botafogo, Coritiba, Goiás and Vasco da Gama). The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B is commonly referred to as the Brasileirão Série B (Série B), and until 2022 was officially called Brasileirão Sportingbet by sponsorship reasons. Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament.
