Zebbler (Peter Zebbler Berdovsky) is a visual artist, video jockey and the founder of Zebbler Studios, who is known for his work with Shpongle, EOTO, and Zebbler Encanti Experience. Zebbler first gained worldwide fame for the 2007 Boston Mooninite panic on January 31, 2007, and subsequent news conference. His first "Shpongletron" design earned him recognition as one of the first VJs to incorporate 3-D video mapping into his set designs. Early life Originally from Grodno, Belarus, Berdovsky graduated from Arlington High School in Arlington, Massachusetts in 1999 before completing a degree at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2006. 2007 Boston Mooninite Panic
On the morning of January 31, 2007, the Boston Police Department and the Boston Fire Department mistakenly identified battery-powered LED placards depicting the Mooninites, characters from the Adult Swim animated television series ''Aqua Teen Hunger Force'', as improvised explosive devices (IEDs), leading to a massive panic. Placed throughout Boston, Massachusetts, and the surrounding cities of Cambridge and Somerville by Peter "Zebbler" Berdovsky and Sean Stevens, these devices were part of a nationwide guerrilla marketing advertising campaign for ''Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters''. EOTO
EOTO ( ) was an electronic band consisting of Michael Travis and Jason Hann. On July 22, 2021 the band announced via social media that they would no longer be performing, due to irreconcilable creative differences. The post indicated that the decision did not impact The String Cheese Incident, which they both play in. Description The band's music is created live and without prerecorded loops. The band formed in 2006 as a side project of The String Cheese Incident incorporating looper pedals, like Echoplex and the production program Ableton. According to one reviewer, the duo sets their live instruments free and take on a new electronic flavor. The band played their first show at Sonic Bloom (festival), Sonic Bloom in May 2006. Shpongle
Shpongle is a psychedelic electronic music project from England that formed in 1996. The group includes Hallucinogen and Raja Ram (one of three in The Infinity Project). The duo are considered to be one of the progenitors of the psybient genre - a genre combining world music with psychedelic trance and ambient. Their musical style combines traditional music from all over the world and vocals with contemporary western synthesizer-based psychedelic music. When asked to describe Shpongle's music, Posford has responded that it is "like nothing you've ever heard before." Shpongle's first track, "Vapour Rumours", was released on TIP Records' ''Infinite Excursions'' compilation in 1996. Their debut album, ''Are You Shpongled?'', was released in 1998 on Twisted Records. Arlington High School is a public high school located in Arlington, Massachusetts. As of 2010, the school enrolls approximately 1,300 students annually. The current principal is Matthew Janger. Currently being rebuilt. History The current Arlington High School, designed by Howard B.S. Prescott, was opened in 1915 for grades 10–12. What is now known as "Fusco house" was the only original building. Boys and girls were required to enter the building through two separate entrances. Two additions were later added on, the "Collomb house," as it is now known, in 1937 and then the "Downs house."
