Zdravo ( sr-cyr, Здраво; trans. ''Hello'') was a Yugoslav disco group from Belgrade. Band history The group was formed in 1976 by the disk jockey Boban Petrović. Having gathered several teenagers and several Belgrade musicians, Petrović intended to form a band which would perform communicative disco music with funk influences. In order to attract media attention, Petrović chose the name Zdravo after the youth magazine ''Zdravo'', which Politika Newspapers and Magazines started publishing at about the same time. The first lineup consisted of Boban Petrović (vocals, keyboards), Dragan Jovanović (guitar, later a member of the hard rock band Generacija 5), Branko Kojić (bass guitar, later a member of the new wave band Grupa I), Vlastimir Cvetković (drums), and vocalists and dancers Boža Jeremić, Vladislav Kukolj, and Branko Popović. Generacija 5
Generacija 5 ( sr-cyr, Генерација 5; trans. ''Generation 5'') is a Serbian and Yugoslav rock band formed in Belgrade in 1977. The mainstay members of the band are keyboardist and band leader Dragoljub Ilić and guitarist Dragan Jovanović. At the beginning of their career the band performed jazz rock. With the arrival of vocalist Goran Milošević, the band moved to hard rock, releasing a number of hits during the late 1970s and early 1980s. The band disbanded in 1982. In 1985 former members of the band played a pivotal role in YU Rock Misija, the Yugoslav contribution to Live Aid. Generacija 5 reunited in 1992 and is still active. Grupa I ( sr-Cyrl, Група И; trans. ''Group I'') was a Serbian and former Yugoslav new wave band from Belgrade, active in the late 1970s and early 1980s. History The band was formed in January 1979 by guitarists Dejan Kostić and Predrag Mijović, drummer Branko "Mango" Kuštrin (former Tarkus member), bassist Branko Kojić (former Zdravo member), and vocalist Branko Bogićević. The lineup recorded their debut single "Sestra Vera" ("Sister Vera"), with "Miris ulice" ("The Smell of the Street") as the single B-side, released by PGP-RTB in 1979, after which Bogićević left the band, and bassist Kojić took over the vocal duties.
