Zdravko Ponoš
Zdravko Ponoš ( sr-cyrl, Здравко Понош; born 3 November 1962) is a Serbian politician, former diplomat, and retired general who served as chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces from 2006 to 2008. Born in Golubić, a village near Knin, Ponoš later moved to Zagreb, where he spent most of his youth and obtained a degree in electronic engineering. Ponoš moved to Serbia in 1986, where he began his military career. Two years later, he obtained a job at the Department of Development and Equipment in Belgrade, where he worked until 2002. Ponoš then acquired a position at the Ministry of Defense, where he served as an advisor to multiple ministers, including future president Boris Tadić. In 2005, he was promoted to the rank of major general after having served as a colonel since 2000, and also became deputy chief of the General Army. Zdravko Čolić (, ; born 30 May 1951) is a Bosnian Serb singer and is widely considered one of the greatest vocalists and cultural icons of the former Yugoslavia. Zdravko Lazarov ( bg, Здравко Лазаров; born 20 February 1976) is a Bulgarian professional football coach and a former player. Lazarov's professional playing career as a winger spanned nearly 30 years, during which he played for 15 different clubs in Bulgaria, Turkey and Russia. Zdravko Rajkov ( sr-Cyrl, Здравко Рајков; 5 December 1927 – 30 July 2006) was a Serbian football striker and manager. On the national level he played for Yugoslavia national team scoring 11 goals in 28 matches, and participated in the 1958 FIFA World Cup, where he scored a goal in the match against Paraguay. Zdravko Ježić
Zdravko "Pusko" Ježić (17 August 1931 – 19 June 2005) was a Croats, Croatian chemist and water polo player. He was part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Yugoslav team that won silver medals at the 1952 and 1956 Olympics and placed fourth in 1960. In 1958 Ježić received a degree in chemical technology from the University of Zagreb, and in 1960 started working for chemical industry. In 1962 he defended a PhD in organic chemical technology, and then spent a few years as a postdoctoral student at the University of Michigan. From 1966 until his retirement in 1992 he developed polymeric materials at Dow Chemical Company in the United States. He co-authored numerous scientific and technical papers and 13 patents. As a U.S. citizen, Ježić appeared in an Olympic-themed commercial for Dow Chemical during the 1988 Olympics. Ježić died in New York City in 2005. Zdravko "Ćiro" Kovačić (6 July 1925 – 1 April 2015) was a Croats, Croatian water polo player who competed for Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia in the 1948 Summer Olympics, in the 1952 Summer Olympics, and in the 1956 Summer Olympics. Kovačič was born in Šibenik in 1925 (at the time Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes), but moved to Sušak, Rijeka, Sušak the next year and therefore considered himself a native of Rijeka. Zdravko Šotra ( sr-cyr, Здравко Шотра; born 13 February 1933) is a Serbian film and television director and screenwriter. He is known for directing the films ''Zona Zamfirova'', ''Boj na Kosovu'', '' Šešir profesora Vujića'', ''Santa Maria della Salute'' among others, as well as television mini-series. Early life Šotra was born in the village of Kozice, near Stolac (modern Bosnia and Herzegovina), into an ethnic Serb family as the seventh child of Mara and Đorđe Šotra. As a young child his family moved to Kosovo just prior to the outbreak of World War II, where he would grow up.
