Czech (; Czech ), historically also Bohemian (; ''lingua Bohemica'' in Latin), is a West Slavic language of the Czech–Slovak group, written in Latin script. Zdeněk Doležal (born 1 September 1931) is a Czech former pair skater who competed internationally for Czechoslovakia. With his skating partner, Věra Suchánková, he is the 1958 World silver medalist and a two-time European champion (1957, 1958). Zdeněk Chalabala
Zdeněk Chalabala (18 April 1899 – 4 March 1962) was a Czechoslovak conductor (music), conductor. He conducted orchestras in Prague, Ostrava, Moscow. Chalabala was born in Uherské Hradiště. He studied conducting at the Brno Conservatory with František Neumann, and after a few years gaining experience was appointed a conductor of the Brno Opera in 1926 alongside Břetislav Bakala; in 1932 conducted the premiere there of ''Flammen (Schulhoff), Flammen'' by Erwin Schulhoff. Zdeněk Hruška (born 25 July 1954 in Prague) is a former Czechoslovak footballer and an active football manager. As a goalkeeper who spent the longest part of his career with Bohemians Prague Hruška had 24 appearances for Czechoslovakia and participated at the 1982 FIFA World Cup. Playing career Hruška started his career at Slavoj Vyšehrad which he left in 1974 in order to undergo a 2 years of military service. From 1976 he played in the goal for Bohemians Prague where he in 1982 won the Czechoslovakia cup and in 1983 became champion of Czechoslovakia. Zdeněk Hnát (born 25 October 1935) is a Czech classical pianist, known especially for his interpretations of Czech music and chamber music. Hnat was born in Liberec, Czech Republic. He studied piano with Ilona Štěpánová-Kurzová in Prague, and Heinrich Neuhaus (the latter at the Moscow Conservatory). Zdeněk Hedrlín
Zdeněk Hedrlín (1933 – April 22, 2018) was a Czech mathematician, specializing in universal algebra and combinatorial theory, both in pure and applied mathematics. Zdeněk Hedrlín received his PhD from Prague's Charles University in 1963. His thesis on commutative semigroups was supervised by Miroslav Katětov. Hedrlín held the title of ''Docent'' (associated professor) at Charles University. There he worked at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics for over 60 years until he died at age 85. He was among the first Czech mathematicians to do research on category theory. Zdeněk Frolík (March 10, 1933 – May 3, 1989) was a Czech mathematician. His research interests included topology and functional analysis. In particular, his work concerned covering properties of topological spaces, ultrafilters, homogeneity, measures, uniform spaces. He was one of the founders of modern descriptive theory of sets and spaces.
