Isabelle Marie Anne de Truchis de Varennes (born 18 April 1964), better known by her stage name Zazie, is a French singer-songwriter and former fashion model. Zazie Dans Le Métro (novel)
(translated as both ''Zazie in the Metro'' and ''Zazie'') is a French novel written in 1959 by Raymond Queneau, and his first major success. Plot Zazie, a foul-mouthed provincial girl is dropped off at the Paris train station to spend a weekend with her uncle Gabriel while her mother Jeanne Lalochère spends time with her lover. Zazie tells Gabriel that she wants to visit the Paris Métro, but Gabriel tells her she cannot as it is closed due to a strike. Throughout the novel, Zazie asks Gabriel if he is a "hormosessuel" (homosexual), to which he vigorously denies. "Je suis un homme" is a 2007 pop song recorded by French singer Zazie. It was the second single from her sixth studio album ''Totem'' and was released in early October 2007. Raymond Queneau (; 21 February 1903 – 25 October 1976) was a French novelist, poet, critic, editor and co-founder and president of Oulipo ('' Ouvroir de littérature potentielle''), notable for his wit and cynical humour.
