Zastava PPZ
The Zastava PPZ is the latest generation of the CZ 99 series of handguns chambered in multiple calibers. History In 2007 Zastava started work on new generation of pistols based on CZ 99 series, under the working name "CZ M-07". The M-07 was a general redesign of the CZ 99/999 Pistol.The top of the slide was flattened, sides were slanted (similarly to those of H&K USP), bore axis was lowered by 4 mm, trigger mechanism as well as slide release and decocking mechanism were also redesigned, longer beaver tail was added and magazine capacity was increased from 15+1 to 17+1. In 2010 new prototype was unveiled on IWA Show in Nuremberg under the new working name "RASHOMON" The biggest difference was the new polymer frame featuring Interchangeable back strap and a full length MIL-STD-1913 rail. Semi-automatic Pistol
A semi-automatic pistol is a type of repeating single-chamber handgun ( pistol) that automatically cycles its action to insert the subsequent cartridge into the chamber (self-loading), but requires manual actuation of the trigger to actually discharge the following shot. As a result, only one round of ammunition is fired each time the trigger is pulled, as the pistol's fire control group disconnects the trigger mechanism from the firing pin/ striker until the trigger has been released and reset. Additional terms sometimes used as synonyms for a semi-automatic pistol are self-loading pistol, autopistol, autoloading pistol, and automatic pistol (E.G.: Automatic Colt Pistol). Zastava M88
The Zastava M88 is a semi-automatic pistol produced by Zastava Arms, it is a compact redesign of the Zastava M57 pistol. Features A simple handgun available in 9×19mm Parabellum and .40 S&W with non-adjustable sights and a single-action trigger, just like its older cousin, the TT-33. The M88 has a shorter 3.5 inch barrel and a different hammer position. A variant of the pistol called the M88A features an external safety on the slide and an internal firing pin block safety.
