Mohammad Javad Zarif
Mohammad Javad Zarif Khansari ( fa, محمدجواد ظریف خوانساری, Mohammad-Javād Zarīf Khānsāri ; ; born 8 January 1960) is an Iranian career diplomat and academic. He was the foreign minister of Iran from 2013 until 2021 in the government of Hassan Rouhani. During his tenure as foreign minister, he led the Iranian negotiation with P5+1 countries which produced the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on 14 July 2015, lifting the economic sanctions against Iran on 16 January 2016. On 25 February 2019, Zarif resigned from his post as foreign minister. His resignation was rejected by Ali Khamenei and he continued as foreign minister. Before assuming his current position, he held various significant diplomatic and cabinet posts. Houshang Zarif
Houshang Zarif ( fa, هوشنگ ظریف, also Romanized as "Hūshang Zarīf"; December 7, 1938 – March 7, 2020) was a master of tar and Persian classical music. Biography and career Houshang Zarif was born in 1938 in Tehran. He was a graduate of the Persian National Music Conservatory in Tehran; where he studied tar with Mousa Maroufi. Zarif worked with the Fine Arts Administration Orchestra, conducted by Hossein Dehlavi in the 1950s and was the professor of tar at the National Conservatory for several years; Hossein Alizadeh was among his pupils. Zarif died in Tehran on 7 March 2020. Omar Zarif (born 9 February 1978) is an Argentine professional football manager and former player. Playing career Zarif started his playing career in 1998 with Dock Sud in the regionalised 4th division. The club were relegated and Zarif continued playing for them in the regionalised 5th division. In 2002, he was signed by El Porvenir of the National 2nd division, he then had spells with other 2nd division teams; Los Andes, Defensa y Justicia and Nueva Chicago. In 2006, he was part of the Nueva Chicago team that won promotion to the Argentine Primera.
