Fabrizio Zanotti (born 21 May 1983) is a Paraguayan professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Early life Zanotti was born in Asunción. He was Paraguay's top ranked amateur golfer for six straight years. Professional career Zanotti turned professional in 2003. In 2006 Zanotti won the Tour de las Americas Order of Merit with victory at the final event of the season, the Abierto Mexicano Corona. The tournament was also the second event on the 2007 Challenge Tour schedule, and the win enabled him to join the tour for the remainder of the season. He ended the season in 11th place on the Challenge Tour Rankings to graduate to the top level European Tour for 2008. In his rookie season on the European Tour, Zanotti finished 153rd on the Order of Merit to lose his place on the tour. Francesco Maria Zanotti Cavazzoni (Bologna, 6 January 1692 – Bologna, 25 December 1777) was an Italian philosopher and writer. Besides being a writer, he was also a commentator on works of art. He was considered an authoritative source on many topics. Life He was the son of Giampietro Zanotti, and a pupil of Eustachio Manfredi. In 1718 he became professor of philosophy at the University of Bologna, and in 1723 he was appointed as secretary of Luigi Ferdinando Marsigli. Initially a Cartesian, he became a follower of Newton. In 1728 Francesco Algarotti experimented with light in his lab, replicating the prism and spectrum experiments of Isaac Newton. In 1741 he became a Fellow of the Royal Society. Mark Zanotti (born 11 August 1964) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the West Coast Eagles, Brisbane Bears and Fitzroy Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Zanotti usually played at fullback and started his career with Subiaco in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He played in their 1986 premiership and won the Simpson Medal for best on ground in the grand final. The following season he joined then VFL and was a member of West Coast's inaugural side. After two seasons he moved to Brisbane and had his best season in 1990 when he finished third in their best and fairest. He finished his career at Fitzroy from 1993 until 1995, adding 57 games.
