Nicholas Zammit
Nicholas Zammit (1815–1899) was a Maltese medical doctor, an architect, an artistic designer, and a major philosopher. His area of specialisation in philosophy was chiefly ethics. Throughout his philosophical career he did not adhere to just one intellectual position. Roughly two-thirds into his life, Zammit passed from a liberal way of thinking to a conservative one. This does not mean that there are no carry-overs, developments, or continuations between the two phases, or that Zammit himself acknowledged such a division. Louis Rees-Zammit (; born 2 February 2001) is a Welsh rugby union wing who currently plays for Gloucester in the English Premiership and for Wales at national level. In 2021, Rees-Zammit was selected to tour with the British and Irish Lions. Early life Rees-Zammit was born in Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan in Wales. Themistocles Zammit
Sir Themistocles "Temi" Zammit (or Żammit; 30 September 1864 – 2 November 1935) was a Maltese archaeologist and historian, professor of chemistry, medical doctor, researcher and writer. He served as Rector (1920–26) of the Royal University of Malta and first Director of the National Museum of Archaeology in his native city, Valletta. Career After graduating in medicine from the University of Malta, Zammit specialised in bacteriology in London and Paris. Edward Zammit Lewis (born 21 June 1973) is a Maltese politician within the Labour Party. He has been a member of the Maltese House of Representatives since 2013. Following the general elections held on 9 March 2013, won by the Labour Party, he was appointed to serve as Parliamentary Secretary for Competitiveness and Economic Growth. In April 2014, he was appointed Minister for Tourism, a post which he occupied up until June 2017. Paul Zammit (born 21 September 1969) is a Maltese manager and a former footballer, current manager of Sliema Wanderers. During his career he played as a forward. Playing career He played from 1990 to 2003, for Rabat Ajax, Hibernians, Ħamrun Spartans and Mosta. Managerial career At the end of 2003 he retired as a player and became coach of Mosta. Darrin Zammit Lupi (born 1968) is a Maltese photographer and journalist. Biography Zammit Lupi was born in 1968 in Malta. He began his career as a photographer with The Malta Independent newspaper in 1992, but shortly thereafter became a freelance photographer. He studied at the University of the Arts London from which he earned a master's degree in Photojournalism and Documentary photography. Michael Zammit (born 1954) is a Maltese philosopher, specialised in Ancient and Eastern philosophy. Life Zammit was born at Valletta in 1954. He studied Philosophy at the University of Malta, acquiring a Bachelor of Philosophy in 1976, and a Master’s degree in 1993. Paul Zammit
Paul John Zammit (born 28 April 1941) is a former Australian Liberal politician. He was born into the Maltese-Egyptian community in Alexandria, Egypt, the son of a Maltese father and a Greek mother. He and his family migrated to Australia in 1955, aboard SS ''Strathnaver'', and settled in the Sydney suburb of Punchbowl. Zammit was a businessman before entering politics.
