Muhammad Hasanuzzaman
Muhammad Hasanuzzaman ( bn, মহম্মদ হাসানুজ্জামান) was a Bengali educationist and politician. He served as a member of the Bengal Legislative Assembly. Early life and family Hasanuzzaman was born in to a Bengali Muslim family in the village of Haripur in Nangalkot, which was then under the Laksam subdivision of the Bengal Presidency's Tipperah (Comilla) District. He was the eldest son of Muhammad Arifur Rahman and Sayyidunnisa Begum. His father was a graduate of the Islamia Madrasa of Chittagong, and became the founding principal of the local Haripur Madrasa from 5 April 1892 until his death in 1923. Hasanuzzaman's mother came from a family of Qadis. Education Hasanuzzaman was initially homeschooled by his father, Arifur Rahman, and passed the local primary examinations. Rustam Zaman
Rustam-i-Zaman was the title of a Bijapuri general who commanded Adil Shah's 10,000 strong army, in the Battle of Kolhapur against Shivaji's forces. He also was the son of Ranadulla Khan (who also held the title ''Rustam-i-Zaman''), an experienced and senior general of Bijapur and the chief mentor and guardian of Shahaji. He participated in the war against the Marathas under Afzal Khan. He was routed but he was allowed to go back to Bijapur by Noor Khan Beg and Tanaji Malusare, military commanders of Shivaji. He led the 10,000 strong Bijapuri army against the 3500 light cavalry of Marathas. Qazi Syed Mohammad Zaman (died c. 1170 AH / 1756 AD) was a judge edicted in accordance with the laws of sharia from Sakras, now in District Mewat, Haryana. Munawwaruz Zaman (2 April 1951 – 28 July 1994) was one of the players of the Pakistan national field hockey team produced by Pakistan. Munawwar played for Pakistan until his retirement in 1980. Muhammad Zaman
