''Zamaanat'' () is a 1977 Indian Hindi-language action film, produced by V. K. Sobti under the Gautam Pictures banner and directed by A. Salaam. It stars Jeetendra, Reena Roy, Amjad Khan, Bindu in lead roles and music composed by Sonik Omi. Plot It's the story of two brothers and their lives full of deceit and in-fights against their own tribe and the police. During the flow of life, the brothers get separated and both become known for their vocation -one as a dacoit and the other as a Policeman. They come to kill each other, but learn in time that they are brothers. Amjad Khan (actor)
Amjad Khan (12 November 1940 — 27 July 1992) was an Indian actor and film director. He worked in over 132 films in a career spanning nearly twenty years. He was the son of the actor Jayant. He gained popularity for villainous roles in mostly Hindi films, the most famous being Gabbar Singh in the 1975 classic ''Sholay'' and of Dilawar in ''Muqaddar Ka Sikandar'' (1978). Early life Amjad Khan was born in Bombay City, Bombay Presidency, British India on 12 November 1940 into a Muslim family of Pashtun descent to actor Jayant; who was originally from Peshawar, North-West Frontier Province. Reena Roy (born Saira Ali; 7 January 1957), is an Indian actress. At the age of 15, she made her film debut with the drama ''Zaroorat'' (1972), but gained wider public recognition with her roles in the romantic comedy ''Jaise Ko Taisa'' (1973) and the romance-action film '' Zakhmee'' (1975). Chand Usmani
Chand Usmani (3 January 1933 – 26 November 1989) was an Indian actress in Hindi films from the 1950s to the late 1980s. She won the 1971 Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is best remembered for playing self-sacrificing wives and mothers. Biography Chandbibi Khanam Usmani was born on 3 January 1933 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, into a Pashtun family. She married Mukul Dutt (director of ''Aan Milo Sajna''), with whom she had a son, Roshan. Ravi Kapoor ( ; born 7 April 1942), known mononymously by his screen name Jeetendra, is an Indian actor who is known for his work in Hindi cinema. He also serves as the chairman of the Balaji Telefilms and Balaji Motion Pictures. Early life Jeetendra was born in a Punjabi Khatri family as Ravi Kapoor in Amritsar, Punjab, to Amarnath and Krishna Kapoor, whose business dealt with imitation jewellery, supplied to film industry. Mohammed Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer and musician. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent.
