Zakhar Volkov
Zakhar Uladzimiravich Volkov ( be, Захар Уладзіміравіч Волкаў; russian: Захар Владимирович Волков; born 12 August 1997) is a Belarusian professional footballer who plays for Russian club Khimki. Club career On 6 August 2020, the BFF banned Volkov from Belarusian football for 2 years for his involvement in the match fixing during his time in Naftan. The ban was later extended to all FIFA-approved competitions. In September 2021, the reminder 1 year of his suspension was indefinitely delayed by BFF and he was able to return on pitch in domestic competitions. On 20 January 2022, he joined Russian Premier League club Khimki on loan until the end of the 2021–22 season. Vitebsk or Viciebsk (russian: Витебск, ; be, Ві́цебск, ; , ''Vitebsk'', lt, Vitebskas, pl, Witebsk), is a city in Belarus. The capital of the Vitebsk Region, it has 366,299 inhabitants, making it the country's fourth-largest city. It is served by Vitebsk Vostochny Airport and Vitebsk Air Base. 2019–20 Belarusian Cup
2019–20 Belarusian Cup was the twenty-ninth season of the Belarusian annual cup competition. Contrary to the league season, it is conducted in a fall-spring rhythm. It started in 22 May 2019 and will conclude with a final match in May 2020. Winners of the Cup will qualify for the second qualifying round of the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League. The 2022–23 Russian Premier League (known as the Mir Russian Premier League, also written as Mir Russian Premier Liga for sponsorship reasons) is the 31st season of the premier football competition in Russia since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the 19th under the current Russian Premier League name. The 2021 Belarusian Premier League was the 31st season of top-tier football in Belarus. Shakhtyor Soligorsk were the defending champions, having won their second league title last year. 2020 FC BATE Borisov Season
The 2020 FC BATE Borisov season was the club's 33rd season of existence and their 23rd consecutive season in the Belarusian Premier League. BATE Borisov entered the season as the league's 10-time defending champions. Beyond the Premier League, BATE Borisov is participating in the UEFA Europa League and the Belarusian Cup. The 2019 Belarusian Premier League was the 29th season of top-tier football in Belarus. BATE Borisov were the defending champions, having won their 13th consecutive league title and 15th overall last year. Dynamo Brest won the Belarusian Premier League title for the first time, ending the BATE Borisov streak.
