Zaire Mitchell-Paden
Zaire Mitchell-Paden (born August 20, 1999) is an American professional football tight end for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Notre Dame College and FAU. Early life Mitchell-Paden grew up in Rockville, Maryland and attended Richard Montgomery High School where he lettered in football and basketball. College career Notre Dame College Mitchell-Paden began his college career at Notre Dame College. During his true freshman season in 2017, he appeared in 10 games and finished the season with two receptions, 16 yards, four kick returns for 26 yards and two tackles. During the 2018 season, he appeared in and started all 14 games and finished the season with 32 caught passes for 435 yards, four touchdowns, one blocked punt and another blocked punt for a touchdown. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. The Florida Atlantic Owls are the athletics teams of Florida Atlantic University. The Owls participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)'s Division I as members of Conference USA. On October 21, 2021, Florida Atlantic accepted the invitation to join the American Athletic Conference (AAC) and will become a full-member on July 1, 2023. The 2022 NFL Draft was the 87th edition of the National Football League's annual draft and was held from April 28–30, 2022, at the Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The first round was held on Thursday, April 28, and was followed by the second and third rounds on Friday, April 29. The draft concluded with rounds 4–7 on Saturday, April 30. It was the first draft to be held in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The first five selections were defensive players, the second-most taken at the start of a draft after the six in 1991.
