Zahrat Al-Sahraa International School
Zareh Yaldizciyan (10 May 192420 February 2007), Զարէհ Եալտըզճեան, better known by his pen name Zahrad ( hy, Զահրատ), was a poet who lived in Turkey and wrote poems in the Armenian language. Biography Of Armenian descent, Zahrad was born in the Nişantaşı district of Istanbul, Turkey. His father, Movses, had been a jurist, adviser, and translator for the Ottoman Foreign Ministry. However, he had lost his father at the age of three. His mother, Ankine, was from the district of Samatya. Zahrad grew up with his maternal grandfather Levon Vartanyan. In 1942 he graduated from Özel Pangaltı Ermeni Lisesi, the local Mechitarist Armenian lyceum. He attended the Faculty University of Medicine in Istanbul but left in order to work. Due to the fear that his family wouldn't appreciate the fact that he wanted to be a poet, he changed his pen name to "Zahrad". In November 1963, he married Anayis Antreasian. The Writers' Union of Armenia was founded in August 1934, simultaneously with the USSR Union of Writers and as a component part of the USSR Union. 1930s The Constituent Assembly was held during 1 August - 5 August, after which the Armenian delegation of writers took part in USSR Writers' Union Constituent Assembly. World War II In Armenia in September 1939 the millennial anniversary of ''Sasuntsi Davit'' epos was celebrated. On this occasion the USSR Writers' Union directorate's plenary session was held in Armenia. In 1941, from 10 May until 20 May the Armenian Literature Decade was organized in Moscow. Robert Kocharian
Robert Sedraki Kocharyan ( hy, Ռոբերտ Սեդրակի Քոչարյան ; born 31 August 1954) is an Armenian politician. He served as the President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic from 1994 to 1997 and Prime Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh from 1992 to 1994. He served as the second President of Armenia between 1998 and 2008 and as Prime Minister of Armenia from 1997 to 1998. Kocharyan was elected president of Armenia twice, in 1998 and 2003; both presidential elections were held in two rounds. During most of his presidency, between 2001 and 2007, Armenia's economy grew on average by 12% annually, largely due to a construction boom. Rober Haddeciyan (also spelled and pronounced as Haddedjian) ( hy, Ռոպէր Հատտէճեան, born January 26, 1926 in Istanbul, Turkey), also known as Rober Haddeler, is an Armenian writer, playwright, and since 1967 editor-in-chief of '' Marmara'', an Armenian-language daily newspaper. ''Marmara'' (also known as ''Nor Marmara'') is published six times a week (daily except Sundays). Circulation is reported at 2,200 per issue. Biography Rober Haddeciyan was born in 1926 in the district of Bakırköy in Istanbul, Turkey, to Avedis Haddeciyan and Siranush. He graduated from the Pangaltı Armenian Mkhitarist High School in 1944 and is an Istanbul University Faculty of Letters Department of Philosophy graduate.
