Zahira El Ghabi is a Moroccan Woman FIDE master (WFM, 2005). Chess career In the early 2000s, she was one of the leading Moroccan chess players. In 2000, Zahira El Ghabi participated in Women's World Chess Championship by knock-out system and in the first round lost to Julia Demina. Zahira Zahir is a Washington DC, Washington barber and cosmetologist. Zahira's salon is in the Watergate hotel. She is known for cutting the hair of United States President George W. Bush. The President's nickname for her is Z. Early life Zahira is the daughter of Abdul Zahir (politician), Abdul Zahir, who was the Prime Minister of Afghanistan from 1971 to 1972. An ethnic Pashtun, she is also the older sister of Ahmad Zahir, called the "Afghan Elvis". ''A Wedding'' (french: Noces) is a 2016 internationally co-produced drama film directed by Stephan Streker. It was screened in the Discovery section at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival. It received eight nominations at the 8th Magritte Awards, including Best Film and Best Director for Streker, and won two. It is based on the honour killing of Sadia Sheikh. Streker described the film as a Greek tragedy. Story A Belgian-Pakistani woman named Zahira Kazim, now 18 years old, breaks up with her boyfriend (who is also of Pakistani ancestry) when he says he does not want a child after she becomes pregnant. Her parents, meanwhile, ask her to choose between three candidates for marriage, all based in Pakistan, and she is uninterested in all of them.
