A coalfield is an area of certain uniform characteristics where coal is mined. The criteria for determining the approximate boundary of a coalfield are geographical and cultural, in addition to geological. A coalfield often groups the seams of coal, railroad companies, cultural groups, and watersheds and other geographical considerations. Zagłębie Sosnowiec () is a football club based in Sosnowiec, Poland. The club was established in 1906. It won Polish Cup four times (1962, 1963, 1977, 1978), and also was four times Polish runner up (1955, 1964, 1967, 1972). History The football team was founded in 1945 as OMTUR Lubin by local members of the ''Youth Organization of the Association of Workers’ Universities'' (''Organizacja Młodzieży Towarzystwa Uniwersytetów Robotniczych, OMTUR''). Zagłębie Wałbrzych is a Polish multisports club in the south-western city of Wałbrzych.
