Zack Nipper
Zack Nipper is an artist from Omaha, Nebraska. He has designed several album covers by bands such as Bright Eyes (band), Bright Eyes, Criteria (band), Criteria, Georgie James and Desaparecidos (band), Desaparecidos. Zack won "Best Recording Package" for his work on Bright Eyes (band), Bright Eyes' ''Cassadaga (album), Cassadaga'' at the 2008 Grammy Awards, giving him, as well as Saddle Creek Records their first Grammy. In 2008, after his Grammy Award, several of Nipper's drawings for the album were displayed at the Joslyn Art Museum in "Zack Nipper: The Cassadaga Drawings" organized by then-senior curator of collections, John Wilson. In January 2011, it was announced that Nipper's work on The People's Key had won the Best Art Vinyl award. ''I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning'' is the sixth studio album by American band Bright Eyes, released on January 25, 2005 by Saddle Creek Records (the same day as their seventh album, ''Digital Ash in a Digital Urn''). The album will be reissued by Dead Oceans alongside a six-track companion EP on November 11, 2022. Songs The music video for " First Day of My Life" was directed by John Cameron Mitchell. This was the first Bright Eyes album to feature Nate Walcott, who is now a permanent member of the band. "Road to Joy" contains an interpolation of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy". Bright Eyes is an American indie rock band founded by singer-songwriter and guitarist Conor Oberst. It consists of Oberst, multi-instrumentalist and producer Mike Mogis, arranger, composer and trumpet and piano player Nate Walcott, and a rotating line-up of collaborators drawn primarily from Omaha's indie music scene. Between 1998 and 2011, the band's albums were released through Saddle Creek Records, a Nebraska-based label founded by Justin Oberst (Conor's brother) and Mogis. Reviews were mostly positive upon release. About ''Read Music/Speak Spanish'' is a punk/indie-rock concept album loosely centered on perceived American materialism and greed. Song topics include the pressures of upward mobility on marriage, the suburban expansion of Omaha, the desire to always follow the latest fashion or fad, the effect of consumerism on developing countries, and the mixture of religion and politics. Lillian Moller Gilbreth
Lillian Evelyn Gilbreth (; May 24, 1878 – January 2, 1972) was an American psychologist, industrial engineer, consultant, and educator who was an early pioneer in applying psychology to time-and-motion studies. She was described in the 1940s as "a genius in the art of living." Gilbreth, one of the first female engineers to earn a Ph.D., is considered to be the first industrial/organizational psychologist. She and her husband, Frank Bunker Gilbreth, were efficiency experts who contributed to the study of industrial engineering, especially in the areas of motion study and human factors.
