Zach DeLoach
Zachary Dixon DeLoach (born August 18, 1998) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2024. Amateur career DeLoach grew up in Lewisville, Texas, and attended Hebron High School. He played college baseball for the Texas A&M Aggies for three seasons. He started 61 games as a true freshman in 2018 and hit .264. DeLoach played collegiate summer baseball for the Wisconsin Woodchucks of the Northwoods League and was named a league All-Star after hitting .323 with five home runs, 17 doubles, 38 RBI and 10 stolen bases. He hit for a .200 average in his sophomore season. After the 2019 season he played for the Falmouth Commodores in the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he was named a league all-star and led the league with a .353 batting average. Tacoma Rainiers
The Tacoma Rainiers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. They are located in Tacoma, Washington, and play their home games at Cheney Stadium, which opened in 1960. The Arkansas Travelers, also known informally as The Travs, are a Minor League Baseball team based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. 2020 Major League Baseball Draft
The 2020 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft took place on June 10 and 11, 2020. The draft assigned amateur baseball players to Major League Baseball (MLB) teams. The draft order was set based on the reverse order of the 2019 MLB season standings. In addition, compensation picks were distributed for players who did not sign from the 2019 MLB draft and for teams who lost qualifying free agents. On March 26, 2020, MLB and the MLBPA reached a deal that included the option to shorten the draft to five rounds, and also shorten the 2021 draft to 20 rounds due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
