Zacatecoluca
Zacatecoluca () is the capital municipality of the La Paz Department of El Salvador. Located in Southern El Salvador, in the Rio Lempa valley, at the foot of San Vicente (Chinchotepec) Volcano. A commercial center for the surrounding agricultural area, it also trades in cotton goods, baskets, salt, and lumber. History An earthquake in 1932 caused severe damage. Zacatecoluca was the birthplace of José Simeón Cañas, who fought for and secured the emancipation of slaves in Central America by Spaniards in 1825. Zacatecoluca houses many traditional Spanish buildings including the Santa Lucia Catholic Church and used to hold the house where José Simeón Cañas lived, until poor economy due to the many years of war caused the local government to sell the house to a supermarket branch, the house was destroyed and a poorly marked stone on the left of the supermarket entrance is all that is left of Cañas' housing legacy. La Paz () is a department of El Salvador in the south central area of the country. The capital is Zacatecoluca. La Paz has an area of 1,228 km2 and a population of more than 328,000. The department was created in 1852. There are various caves containing rock writing. Tercera Division De Fútbol Salvadoreño
Tercera Division de Fútbol Salvadoreño is the third division of football in El Salvador. The champion is promoted to the Segunda División de El Salvador. The team with the lowest points in each group will be demoted to the amateur league. Structure There are 24 clubs in Tercera Division divided into 4 groups of 10. They play in Apertura and Clausura. The clubs plays every team in each group twice. The top four teams from each group, 16 teams in total, qualify for play-offs to determine the winner of the apertura and clausura title. The winners will be promoted to the Segunda División de El Salvador. Similarly, the Three clubs that finished at the bottom of Tercera Division are relegated to ADFA and are replaced by the top three clubs. ''La Prensa Gráfica'' commonly known as ''La Prensa'' is a daily newspaper published in El Salvador by Grupo Dutriz. ''La Prensa'' is a mainstream metropolitan newspaper, and became one of the first newspapers to print in color in Central America. History Brothers Antonio Dutriz and José Dutriz formed a commencial partnership known as Dutríz Hermanos on October 14, 1903. ''La Prensa'' was then founded by José and Antonio Dutriz, and its first issue was printed and distributed on May 10, 1915. The first issue had four standard size pages. The newspaper expanded and bought new equipment in 1916. Antonio and José Dutriz were the first directors of the newspaper.
