Zac Ward
Zac Ward is an Irish rugby union player. He represents Ireland internationally at Rugby Sevens. He is the son of former International Andy Ward. Early life By 2004, Ward was already playing age group rugby in Ulster. He attended Down High School, and Hartpury College. Career In November 2021, Ward was called up to the Ireland Sevens squad for the World Rugby Sevens Series event in Dubai. In May 2023, Ward featured as Ireland finished sixth at the World Rugby Sevens Series event in London. Ward was then selected for the Ireland squad for the 2023 European Games held in Kraków in June 2023. Ward played with in the final against Great Britain, with Ireland winning gold in the tournament and therefore qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Games. Great Britain National Rugby Sevens Team
The Great Britain national rugby sevens team is the men's international rugby 7s team that is the representative team of Great Britain. After having played at the World Games in 2001 and 2005, they made their Olympic debut at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where they won the silver medal, losing the final to Fiji. The 1998–99 Heineken Cup was the fourth edition of the Heineken Cup. Competing teams from France, Ireland, Italy, Wales, and Scotland, were divided into four pools of four, in which teams played home and away matches against each other. Cardiff and Swansea did not compete due to a dispute with their union, the Welsh Rugby Union, whereas teams from England did not compete due to a dispute between European Rugby and the Rugby Football Union.
