Zac Smith (Shortland Street)
ZacharySmith is a fictional character on the New Zealand soap opera ''Shortland Street'' who has been portrayed by Mike Edward in multiple guest stints since mid 1995. The character returned in a more central role for the shows 20th anniversary in 2012. Zac appeared in numerous stints throughout the show's first 20 years, initially debuting in May 1995 as a short term love interest for Grace Kwan (Lynette Forday). ''Good Morning'' was a New Zealand morning magazine lifestyle television programme. It aired weekday mornings from 9 am to 10 am on TVNZ 1 from April 1996 to 2015. Ido Drent (born 27 January 1987) is a South African-born actor working and living in Auckland, New Zealand. He is best known to television audiences as Daniel Potts in the long-running soap opera ''Shortland Street''. Early life Drent was born in Pretoria and raised until the age of 8 in Potchefstroom, South Africa. In January 1996 Drent and his family moved to New Zealand. He remembers watching ''Shortland Street'' for the first time and being bewildered by the accents. Angela Marie Dotchin (born 31 March 1974 in Auckland) is a former actress best most known for her roles as Kirsty Knight in ''Shortland Street'', and as Emilia Rothschild in '' Jack of All Trades'' and for starring as Kora on ''Young Hercules''.
