Z Rock (TV Series)
''Z Rock'' is an American comedy television series, which aired on IFC in the United States. The show is a semi-scripted comedy and is based on the double life of a Brooklyn band, ZO2. By night, they are a hard rock band but, to pay the bills, they are the "Z Brothers" by day, playing at children's birthday parties. ZO2 consists of brothers Paulie Z, David Z and their childhood friend Joey Cassata portraying fictionalized versions of themselves. The series was filmed and produced in New York City by Mark Mark Productions. Lynne Koplitz is an American stand-up comedian and actress. Koplitz was host of Telepictures' nationally syndicated dating show '' Change of Heart'', guest host on NBC's '' Later'', co-host of the Food Network's ''How to Boil Water'', and co-host of Sony Pictures syndicated talk show ''Life and Style''. Her stand-up has appeared on a number of Comedy Central specials, including ''Premium Blend'' and ''Comedy Central Presents''. She performed at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. Steel Panther is an American comedic glam metal band from Los Angeles, California. They are known for their profane and humorous lyrics as well as their exaggerated onstage pastiche of the stereotypical glam metal lifestyle. History Metal Shop / Metal Skool (2000–2007) The quartet began to gain popularity on the Sunset Strip during the early 2000s under the name Metal Shop (soon changed into Metal Skool, then into Steel Panther).
