ZVVZ USK Praha
USK Praha (official name: ZVVZ USK Praha) is a Czech women's basketball club that was founded in 1953 in the city of Prague. USK Praha plays in the Czech League, the highest competition in the Czech Republic. It is a 21-times national champion. On the international scene, the greatest success was the win of the Ronchetti Cup in the 1975/76 season, of the EuroLeague in the 2014/15 season and subsequently of the FIBA SuperCup in 2015. Since 2014, its home is Královka Arena. Before, this team inhabited Folimanka hall. Czech Championship women's basketball (Czech: ''Česká ženská basketbalová liga'') - basketball tournament among Czech women's teams. The first draw took place in 1993, which became the champions of the Prague team USK Prague W. Most titles, currently 14, won the team from Brno, BK Žabiny Brno. History The Czech women's Basketball league joined the women's Euroleague in 2010. There are 40 elite teams in the Euroleague that compete for the Euroleague Championship. 2014–15 EuroLeague Women
The 2014–15 EuroLeague Women season was the 19th edition of EuroLeague Women under its current name. Including the playoffs, the season ran from 11 November 2014 until 12 April 2015. Fifteen teams across eight countries were divided into two groups, with the top four from each group advancing to the postseason. Dynamo Kursk won Group A with a 10–2 record, while Fenerbahçe won Group B with an 11–3 record. Czechoslovak Women's Basketball Championship
The Czechoslovak Women's Basketball Championship was the premier women's basketball league in former Czechoslovakia. Founded in 1933, it was disestablished sixty years later following the country's dissolution and replaced by the Czech League and the Slovak Extraliga replacing it. Sparta Praha was the most successful team in the championship with 23 titles between 1948 and 1987, followed by Slovan Orbis and Slavia VŠ Praha with nine. While the championship was mostly dominated by Czech teams its four last editions were won by Slovakia's ŠKP Banská Bystrica and Ružomberok.
