Yūko Ōshima
is a Japanese actress and former member of Japanese idol girl group AKB48, of which she was the captain of Team K. She was also a member of the AKB48 subunit Not Yet. In addition to the singles that involved the rock-paper-scissors tournaments, she sang on the title tracks for all of AKB48's singles since "Aitakatta" in October 2006. She placed among the top two of the annual AKB48 general elections from 2009 to 2013. Oshima is currently represented with Ohta Production. Biography Oshima was born in Yokohama, and was raised in Mibu, Tochigi Prefecture. Her mother is from Hokkaido. Oshima is 3/4 Japanese and 1/4 American. Her parents divorced 6 months after her family moved to Mibu. Oshima lived with her father while she only saw her mother once after the divorce. In 1996, she signed as a child actor with Central Kodomo Gekidan. The Alfee
The Alfee is a Japanese folk rock band who debuted in 1974, and have been recording and touring since then, with 23 studio albums and 63 singles throughout their career. The band marked its 40th anniversary in 2014 with their 64th single. History Masaru Sakurai, Konosuke Sakazaki, Toshihiko Takamizawa, and Yasuo Miyake met in 1973 while students at Meiji Gakuin University, and formed the group Alfie. On August 25, 1974, they released their first single "Natsu Shigure". Around 1975, Miyake left the group, leaving the remaining group a trio. In 2003, HMV's Japanese branch ranked them number 92 in their "Top 100 Japanese pops Artists" list. The Alfee claims American folk music as their primary inspiration, but they do also take from heavy metal, hard rock, progressive rock, and Japan's "new wave". Yūhi O Miteiru Ka?
is Japanese idol group AKB48's eighth single, and the sixth major single released through DefSTAR Records, on October 31, 2007. Although it reached only number 10 on the Oricon charts, it is considered one of the group's favorite songs. Promotion The title track was sung with only ten members, the least number since the process was introduced for the group. Four members who had sung on the group's previous single, "Boku no Taiyō", were not chosen. Boku No Taiyō
is Japanese idol group AKB48's seventh single, and the fifth major single released through DefSTAR Records, on August 8, 2007. Promotion "Boku no Taiyō" was also the title of a series of stage performances from July 1, 2007 by , an inter-group unit, as well as the signature song within its performances. "Boku no Taiyō" was released only 3 weeks after "Bingo!"'s release, video clip was filmed by Masaki Takehisa, the same director who filmed Morning Musume.'s video clip. Bingo! (stylised as BINGO!) is Japanese idol group AKB48's sixth single, and the fourth major single released through DefSTAR Records, on July 18, 2007. Promotion The music video was filmed by the same director filmed "Seifuku ga Jama o Suru", although the theme is totally different.
