Yvonne Brewster
Yvonne Jones Brewster (née Clarke; born 7 October 1938) is a Jamaican actress, theatre director and businesswoman, known for her role as Ruth Harding in the BBC television soap opera ''Doctors''. She co-founded the theatre companies Talawa in the UK and The Barn in Jamaica. Kingston is the capital and largest city of Jamaica, located on the southeastern coast of the island. She is best known for her roles in British television soap opera playing Pearl McHugh in Channel 5's ''Family Affairs'', Vera Corrigan in the BBC Vera Corrigan ''Doctors'', and as Emerald Fox in ''EastEnders''. Norman Beaton
Norman Lugard Beaton (31 October 1934 – 13 December 1994) was a Guyanese actor long resident in the United Kingdom. He became best known for his role as Desmond Ambrose in the Channel Four television comedy series ''Desmond's''. The writer Stephen Bourne has called him "the most influential and highly regarded black British actor of his time". Early life Beaton was born in Georgetown, British Guiana (now Guyana).
