Yuvathurki
''Yuvathurki'' () is a 1996 Malayalam-language action film directed by Bhadran, produced by Amitabh Bachchan Corporation in association with Seven Arts. Suresh Gopi and Vijayashanti appear in the leading roles. Dr. Rajendra Babu was the dialogue writer for the film, who had earlier done '' Sphadikam'', which was also directed by Bhadran, while Bhadran himself penned the screenplay. Most of the film was shot in and around Delhi, barring a few scenes. The Tapovanam of Swami Somendra was shot at Udaipur. ''Yuvathurki'' was the first Malayalam film by Vijayashanti. Although movie had a star cast and high budget for a movie in the 90s, the film fared poorly at the box office. Bhadran Mattel is an Indian filmmaker and writer, whose career spans more than 40 years. Bhadran's body of work addresses such themes as victimization of ill-mannered parenting, concepts of psychological trauma's and redemption, objectification of fatherhood, childhood distresses, intense metaphorical placements of matter and animals, Biblical inspired backdrops, and autocrat Christian culture in typical parts of Kerala. Vijayashanti (born 24 June 1966) is an Indian actress, producer and politician. In a film career spanning 40 years, she has acted in 187 feature films in a variety of roles in various languages predominantly in Telugu, Tamil, in addition to Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam films. Ratheesh (1954–2002) was an Indian actor best known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He was a native of Kalavoor in the Alappuzha district of Kerala, India. George Antony, popularly credited as Spadikam George is an Indian actor and former Kerala state Police officer who primarily works in Malayalam films.
