Yulduz Turdiyeva ( uz, Yulduz Turdiyeva; russian: link=no, Юлдуз Турдиева) is an Uzbek singer who sings in Uzbek, Azeri and Persian. She is an honored artist of Uzbekistan. Her music is characterized by her vocal improvisation. Life Yulduz Turdiyeva was born on August 10, 1985, in Bukhara region. In 2008, she graduated from the Uzbekistan State Conservatory. Married in 2007 and now has 3 children. The first music album of the singer, who won the 2010 "Nihol" award, was released in 2011. In addition, in 2004, she won the "Best Vocalist" award at the "Fifth International Youth Festival" held in Yalta, and the first prize at the International Mugam Festival held in Azerbaijan in 2009. Karabakh Shikastasi (mode)
Karabakh Shikastasi ( az, Qarabağ şikəstəsi) — is one of the rhythmic Azerbaijani mughams. It is a macama-based segah. Musical size - 2/4. It is performed at a heavy pace. After each verse sung by the singer, a different melody (instrumental episode) is played. It is considered one of the most popular shikeste - lyrical extended songs. "Karabakh Shikeste" was used in the opera"Asli and Kerem" of Uzeyir Hajibeyov, "Shah Ismail" of Muslim Magomayev,"Shahsenem" of Reingold Glier. The melody of this mugham is played in the 28 May metro station in Baku. International World Of Mugham Festival
The International Mugham Center of Azerbaijan is a center of Azerbaijani arts and music aiming to promote, preserve and popularize the mugham genre of Azerbaijani music. It is located in Baku Boulevard, in downtown Baku. Overview of the center The Mugham Center was built on initiative of the First Lady of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva. Mugham is a genre included in the representative list of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The official opening of the International Mugham Center took place on December 27, 2008.
