Yugendran
Yugendran (born Yugendran Vasudevan on 20 December 1976) is an Indian actor and singer who has sung hundreds of songs in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. He is also an occasional music director and host. Personal life Yugendran is the son of the late Malaysian Malayali origin Tamil language playback singer-actor Malaysia Vasudevan. He has two sisters named Pavithra and Prashanthini. Prashanthini is a Tamil playback singer as well and has sung in films such as '' 12B'', ''Veyil'' and ''Vaaranam Aayiram''. Yugendran performed in the Launch of a Tamil radio station in Sri Lanka called Swarna Oli in 1999, where he met his wife, Hayma Malini, a popular RJ host. His wife Hayma Malini who was born and raised in Singapore, holds an Singapore citizenship. Together they have three children, Visashan Naarayan, Kishan Kutty Naarayan and Darshan Naarayan Nair. ''Student No.1'' is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language coming of age action film directed by Selva. The film starring Sibiraj in his debut and Sherin in lead role while also features Manivannan, Yugendran and Nassar among others. This movie is a remake of the 2001 Telugu film of the same name. ''Student Number 1'' was panned by critics and flopped at the box office. Cast Production Shooting was commenced at Chennai, for a fifteen-days schedule, after which the unit moved to Russia to shoot two songs. The rest of the songs were shot at locations in Andhra Pradesh. A set at a cost of about two lakhs was erected on the beach in Visakhapatnam and it took six days to picturise a song. Choreographing the dance steps was dance choreographer Tarunraj. Malaysia Vasudevan
Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture. ''Kadhal Samrajyam'' is an unreleased Tamil-language romantic comedy film which was shot from 2001 onwards. The film, directed by Agathiyan and produced by Panchu Arunachalam's son, Subbu Panchu, starred an array of children of famous actors and technicians. The film was launched and completed in 2002 and is ready for release, but, despite the release of the soundtrack and the trailer, it is yet to see the lights of day. It should have been the debut film of Aravind, Charan, Anjana, Venkat Prabhu and Santhoshi, but due to the delay of the film's release they got introduced into the film industry in different ways and through other films.
